The Ottawa Rowing Club was founded in the year of Confederation, Originally built on pontoons and moored at the foot of Parliament Hill. In 1890, the original club was placed on-land at our Lady Grey Drive location. In 1896, the ‘old Boathouse’ was built on site and continues to serve our community.
